About the Author
Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama (born 1935), is the spiritual leader of Tibet. He dedicated his life to promoting human rights, religious harmony, and the welfare of the Tibetan people, receiving the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989 for his non-violent struggle.
