About the Author
Plato (c. 428–348 BCE) was a founder of Western philosophy and the Academy in Athens. A student of Socrates and teacher of Aristotle, his 'Dialogues' and 'Theory of Forms' laid the foundation for ethical, political, and metaphysical thought in the Western world.
