When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hang on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.

I have an almost complete disregard of precedent and a faith in the possibility of something better. It irritates me to be told how things always have been done. I defy the tyranny of precedent. I go for anything new that might improve the past.

Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any one thing.

What you don't do can be a destructive force.

If you cut people off from what nourishes them spiritually, something in them dies.

Don't shine so that others can see you. Shine so that through you, others can see HIM.

Sometimes you got to shut up, swallow your pride and accept that you're wrong. it's not called giving up , its called growing up .
