When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.
Happiness is not something readymade. It comes from your own actions.
“Happiness is the best facelift.”
Every gift from a friend is a wish for your happiness.
When we feel love and kindness toward others, it not only makes others feel loved and cared for, but it helps us also to develop inner happiness and peace.
Happiness mainly comes from our own attitude, rather than from external factors.
Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.
Happiness is an inside job
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
One of the simplest ways to stay happy is to let go of all of the things that make you sad.
Play the moments. Pause the memories. Stop the pain. Rewind the happiness.
Kindness is the most meaningful form of progress.
